An evaluation version of SongsToCD is available at no cost. This evaluation version is fully featured but it will cease to operate after 15 days. We recommend that you download the evaluation version to check for compatibility with your particular computer, OS, and CD hardware. 


NOTE: If you are unfamiliar with downloading software from the Internet you should print this page and use it for reference during the installation process.

Download and Installation Instructions for Microsoft Internet Explorer.

  1. Click here to open the Internet Explorer File Download window.
  2. Select Run this program from its current location and then click on OK . The file download window will close and a file transfer progress window will open.
  3. When the file is completely transferred (3 to 5 minutes on a 56K modem) the Security Warning window will open. Click on Yes to launch the SongsToCD setup program called songstocdeval.exe.
  4. A window, titled Install SongsToCD Evaluation Copy..., will open. Click on Start to install the SongsToCD evaluation version.
  5. Click on OK when the installation is complete.
  6. You'll find a SongsToCD folder in your Programs folder on your Start menu. The folder contains two icons, SongsToCD and Uninstall. Select SongsToCD to run the program.


Download and Installation Instructions for Netscape Navigator.

  1. Click here to open the Netscape Save As... window.
  2. Click in the box labeled Save In: and select the very first item in the list, called Desktop
  3. Click on Save. A window, titled Saving Location..., will open to show you the progress of the download.
  4. When the Saving Location... window closes (3 to 5 minutes on a 56K modem), close all other windows so that you can see the desktop.
  5. Locate the icon just saved to your desktop, called songstocdeval.exe, and open it.
  6. A window, titled Install SongsToCD Evaluation Copy... , will open. Click on Start to install the SongsToCD evaluation version.
  7. Click on OK when the installation is complete.
  8. You'll find a SongsToCD folder in your Programs folder on your Start menu. The folder contains two icons, SongsToCD and Uninstall. Select SongsToCD to run the program.
